Located in downtown Montreal at 1472 Peel St., Café Vasco is a must-try. They are a Mediterranean-influenced restaurant with gourmet sandwiches, omelets, cappuccinos, and more.

A huge bonus for Café Vasco is the price. My brunch today (a vegetable omelet with a large cappuccino) was around $20; those prices are rare to pay in downtown Montreal. Décor and ordering

The décor at Vasco da Gama is quite unique; they have a gorgeous interior blue that stands out. During the summer, there is an option to sit on the outdoor patio or inside. To place your order, you will have to go inside, pay, and provide your table to the waitress. Once you do, they will bring the order to your table or outside. "Tips are also welcome."

The breakfast menu at Café Vasco da Gama offers items such as bagels, omelets, hot coffee, and more. I ended up ordering the vegetable omelet and a large cappuccino. The vegetable omelet came with a side of toast and fruit. My total was only $18 before tax, which is not common for downtown Montreal. The average cost of breakfast starts at $20 and up.
