Onigiri Shop, Place St Henri Montreal
The Onigiri Shop has done it again. They have opened a new location at 4351 Notre Dame St W, Montreal, and it is just as amazing as the original. The Onigiri Shop is known for its delicious onigiri, Japanese desserts, soups, and ambiance. The new location is triple the size, and more seating is available.
The main location is at 5600 Monkland Ave, in the heart of NDG. The classic menu starts at $3.99 and goes up to $7.99. The size of each onigiri is still the same, and the amazing thing is, that they offer vegetarian and gluten-free options that are healthy and tasty. Check out my latest review and updated pictures for the Onigiri Shop's newest location.

The menu is identical to the main location on Monkland Ave. The classics are all there, including my favorite, Korean Fried Chicken. During this trip, I tried the salmon avocado from their FUSION menu, which was good. I give it a solid 7/10.
The Korean fried chicken onigiri is a solid 10/10. A generous amount of ingredients is packed on the inside and top; I enjoyed the balance of the sweet and spicy sauces, and recommend giving this a try.

I highly recommend visiting the Onigiri Shop; the prices are very affordable, and the food tastes great. I have visited over a dozen times and always had a great experience. The staff has always been welcoming and open to sharing recommendations.
The onigiris I enjoyed the most are the vege-mix, Korean fried chicken, and K-pop. They also serve delicious desserts such as Japanese cheesecake, almond custard, and dorayaki red bean. Classic starters, such as miso soup and green tea, are there. Visit them today!
