MELK Cafe, Monkland Ave

Located at 5612 Monkland Ave., MELK Cafe is the cutest cafe on Monkland Ave. Only 5 minutes from the metro station Villa Maria, they are easy to locate and worth the trip.  This cute cafe offers some of the tastiest lattes. scones, cookies, and more. MELK Cafe is very cozy and inviting. They are the perfect place to be on a cold winter day. Upon arrival, you will notice that space is limited, so be sure to arrive early to grab a table if you are planning on having a seat.

What I love about this cafe is the fresh baked goods. My favorite item is the banana and chocolate scone. The alternate flavors are cheddar, everything, and apple. If you are not a scone lover, the traditional banana loaf is sold, along with banana and carrot muffins.

The staff at Melk Cafe have always been very friendly and helpful. I am always greeted with a warm smile and great service. Even though space is limited at this tiny cafe, I always find a spot to enjoy my freshly brewed coffee.
