If you’re looking for one of the best brunch restaurants in Montreal, look no further. Amea Cafe is the perfect place to be! Amea Cafe is Mediterranean-inspired and offers some of the tastiest pastries, pizzas, salads, lattes, and more. Amea is located in the heart of downtown Montreal at 1188 Sherbrooke St. W., Montreal, minutes from Metro station Peel.
This cafe is located in the historic Maison Alcan building. This space is also home to The Marquee and Mosiak Space.
Maison Alcan is one of the most important and iconic heritage sites in the country, acting as a symbol of Quebec's resilience.

The seating at Cafe Amea is unique; upon arrival, you will notice these cute little booths that can seat 2 to 4 people. The space is very spacious, and there's tons of seating available for larger groups. If you arrive alone, you can sit at a table with other guests and make yourself at home.
During the spring and summer, there is also a patio to enjoy. The decor at Amea is very modern and up-to-date. The colors are very retro and very fitting for this Mediterranean-style cafe
Amea has a main menu, a brunch menu, and a cocktail menu. I visited during brunch and had the pleasure to try this menu. The brunch menu offers plates, Crostinis, pizzas, and sides.
Scrambled eggs, 23 stracciatella & truffle
Regular Lattee
Supreme strawberry croissant
Let's start with the scrambled eggs. The taste of the stracciatella and truffle was incredible. The eggs were perfect, not soggy, and cooked to perfection. When paired with the truffle butter, they tasted amazing.
The item that I enjoyed the most was the supreme strawberry croissant. This dessert gets a solid 10/10 from me. I loved the filling; it was rich in flavor and taste. This croissant comes in a variety of flavors to choose from; they have strawberry, pistachio, kinder bueno, and more. Amea also serves traditional croissants and tons of other delicious desserts.

Amea Cafe is an amazing place to visit. I highly recommend visiting during the brunch hours. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly, and the overall visit was memorable.
