49th Parallel Café - Lucky's Doughnuts

Discover a new taste

Montreal is known for its unique and one-of-a-kind cafes. Recently, I visited the 49th Parallel Café and loved it. This amazing cafe, located in the heart of downtown Montreal at 488 McGill St., 49th Parallel, offers the perfect space to relax, meet up with friends, or work on that long-overdue project.

With an enormous space and great decor, 49th Parallel is a favorite spot amongst locals and visitors to the city, as it is a few blocks from the iconic Old Port of Montreal.

49th Parallel is known for its exceptional coffee imported from Colombia, Burundi, Brazil, Ethiopia, and more. They also sell an array of delicious donuts, toast, and cakes. Check out my full visit below and get to know this amazing cafe.

49th Parallel Café

The menu at 49th Parallel consists of cafes, donuts, breakfast burgers, and more. The salads, breakfast items, and toast are only available until 3 p.m. The coffee is solid and has a robust taste that will leave you wanting more. Memorable!

Even though I enjoyed the latte I ordered, the taste lingered after each sip and was not very satiny.

There are over a dozen cakes and donuts to choose from; each has a unique taste. To date, I've sampled the lemon and pineapple pie. The price for each donut is roughly $5 before taxes.
