Fu Chun Soupe Dumplings, Downtown Montreal
There are tons of restaurants in Montreal that offer delicious classic pork soupe dumplings for an affordable price; so far, none are like Fuchun Canada. I recently visited this family-owned restaurant, and I was not disappointed.
In the heart of downtown Montreal, Fuchun Canada offers some of the freshest wonton soups and noodles on the block. Just steps away from Metro's Guy Concordia, they are located at 978 Blvd. De Maisonneuve Ouest. While discovering their amazing dumplings, Fuchun also serves delicious noodles, desserts, and side dishes. Check out my full review of the menu, decor, and dishes from Fuchun Soupe Dumplings.
For delicious hand-pulled noodles, check out my visit to Nouilles de Lan Zhou in Montreal's Chinatown.

Classic Pork Soupe Dumplings
Amongst my group the soupe dumplings were a huge hit; we tried the juicy pork, pork and shrimp, mushrooms, beef, and sweet corn. The dumplings were steamed to perfection and were nice and hot. The filling was not soggy or tough, just right.
My personal favourite was the sweet corn and juicy pork. They were steaming hot, and the soup was delicious—a solid 10/10 in my books.
The next item we tried was the scallion oil noodle paired with a fried pork cutlet. This dish was absolutely delicious. The noodles were savoury, and the scallion oil added a nice touch and was not overpowering. The pork cutlet was fried to perfection, and the taste was great. This dish was also paired with a soy sauce that enhanced the flavour.
My least favourite dish was the wontons in peanut butter sauce; the taste was very average, but the wontons were good. Without this particular sauce, they would have tasted even better. Perhaps during my next visit, I will opt for the sesame sauce.

Lastly, we tried the spring rolls (3 pcs) and cool cucumber salad with sesame seeds and light dressing. The cucumber salad was light and refreshing; the sesame seeds added a nice nutty taste, which slightly enhanced the flavour. The springs were good, but not amazing. The dipping sauce on the side was a good bonus, as it helped with flavour.
Final Review
I enjoyed my visit to Fuchun; they are in a prime location and close to many amenities. The decor is very vibrant and inviting. The space is cozy but can accommodate small and large groups. They also sell a variety of Sake and JIRNO soju drinks.
My favourite items were the classic pork dumplings, sweet corn, and the scallion oil noodles. Each of those dishes had a unique taste but was very delicious. The staff was extremely friendly and really welcomed us. For more questions or comments, please reach out to Fuchun directly or leave a comment down below.
