Jardin Nelson, Old Port Montreal
Located in Montreal’s Old Port, Jardin Nelson is known for its rich food, welcoming atmosphere, and live jazz band. This gem is located in the heart of Old Port Montreal and attracts locals and travelers each year to its doors. Jardin Nelson serves up delicious cocktails and has one of the best salmon lasagnas I have ever tried.
Jardin Nelson is located at 407 Place Jacques-Cartier, and for those taking transit, it is a 10-minute walk from Metro Champ-de-Mars.
This restaurant has two amazing patios to choose from. The main patio faces the Old Port, which provides you with an amazing view, and the back patio offers a live jazz band and a bustling crowd. Check out my full visit below, leave a comment, and tell me your favorite dish from Jardin Nelson.
During your visit, you must check out their back patio, where amazing jazz music is played. This restaurant is the perfect place for a date night, as it provides amazing food, entertainment, and the best drinks in town.
Jardin Nelson will make you fall in love. The entrance to the back patio is simply beautiful; it feels like a botanical garden. During the summer, Jardin Nelson is very busy, so make reservations to enjoy a spot on the back patio.
I truly love visiting Jardin Nelson. My favorite dish is the fresh salmon lasagna au gratin. This dish smells amazing and is baked to perfection. The ingredients for this dish are fresh Atlantic salmon, béchamel sauce, spinach, cheddar, mozzarella, and parmesan cheese.
The wine that I chose was the Pet Nat Rosé. This tasted amazing and paired perfectly with this dish.
I highly recommend Jardin to anyone looking for amazing food and a great patio. Throughout the years, I have always enjoyed my visits and have never eaten a bad meal. I love the location of this restaurant, as it is in the heart of Old Port Montreal. The patio in front provides an amazing view of the festivities. I give this restaurant a 9/10 and will visit again.
Jardin Nelson has super-friendly staff that will also take the time to explain the menu and ingredients. Be sure to visit them soon, as they are only open from May until mid-October each year. For more information, please visit their official website for more details.
