Vieux-Port Steakhouse, Old Port Montreal
Vieux-Port Steakhouse is one of my favorite restaurants in Old Port Montreal. Famously known for aged steaks and delicious cocktails, they are truly a must-try. Located at 39 Rue Saint-Paul E, they are easy to spot with their iconic decor.
Only a 10-minute walk from Metros Place d'Armes and Champ-De-Mars, they are easy to locate. I have visited this restaurant quite a few times and have always enjoyed the food and service. In the summer, Vieux-Port Steakhouse provides the option to enjoy their outdoor patio. They feature one in the front and one in the back. Vieux-Port Steakhouse has a spacious interior and can comfortably seat small and large groups. This restaurant also hosts group events, weddings, and other social gatherings. I last visited Vieux-Port Steakhouse for lunch and ordered the grilled salmon with wild rice and vegetables. I paired it with the Francois Lurton Terra Sena and Syrah Languedoc-Roussillon 2019 wines. This dish was amazing. The salmon was perfectly cooked, and the lemon sauce complimented it well.
The wine paired well with the salmon and was perfect for enhancing the overall dining experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a delightful place to enjoy a meal with friends or family.
