Enchiladas Chicken: $21
tomatillo sauce, iceberg lettuce, queso fresco, and crema
This was my first visit to Sabrosa, so I was not sure what to expect in terms of the menu. The menu does not have a multitude of choices, so I played it safe and settled on the chicken enchiladas.
The service was really prompt, as my order did not take a long time to arrive from the kitchen. The smell was amazing, but I was a little disappointed as the potion was small. The taste was satisfying, and the sauces complemented the meal very well. The overall rating on taste and presentation is a solid 7/10.
Pasión $12
Passion fruit and mango puree, lemon, agave, chamoy, and Tajin
This drink was presented well, but it was not a favorite of mine. The pepper overwhelmed the drink, and the passion fruit did not shine through. I wanted this drink to taste great, but with each sip, it was not what I had expected.
Final review
I will visit Sabrosa again, as I want to explore more of the menu. Even though I did not enjoy the drink, I did enjoy the enchiladas. Sabrosa is also located in the Old Port of Montreal, in a beautiful spot. 2024 will be a whole new journey, and I am eager to see what their menu will look like.
